Israeli soldier Boaz Tamam was seriously wounded during confrontations with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, losing a leg and sustaining severe facial injuries. He had previously been deeply involved in war crimes in Gaza, taking part in operations in Jabalia and Beit Hanoun that resulted in the deaths of dozens of Palestinians.
In recent footage from a hospital room, Tamam tells his fellow soldiers to flatten Lebanon, just as they did in Gaza.
According to local residents, he was also among those who used Palestinian civilians as human shields in Jabalia, and took part in raids on Al-Awda Hospital and Kamal Adwan Hospital, as well as the burning of schools in the area.
