UPDATE | According to local sources, the guard dog Lucy survived the brutal attack by a Jewish settler in the town of Atara, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Lucy, who belongs to a Palestinian family, was left seriously injured and bleeding from the head after the settler entered the family’s property and beat her. She was later rescued and transferred to a veterinary hospital, where she is receiving urgent treatment for her injuries.
