The notorious Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) – a US-Israeli-backed private aid group created to bypass the UN and responsible for the deaths of thousands of Palestinian aid-seekers – announced on 24 November that it was permanently shutting down, claiming its mission had been accomplished six weeks after its distribution sites were dismantled under a US-brokered ceasefire...

The group claimed that it would transfer its model to the US-led Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) overseeing the Gaza ceasefire.

During its short existence, the GHF refused to disclose its funding sources, kept its contractor structure opaque, and operated under the protection of Israeli troops...
