🚨🇶🇦 Qatar’s prime minister said Hamas agreed on the first day of the war on Gaza to “release all civilian hostages,” asking only for a ceasefire window to get them out, and Israel refused to even “entertain the idea.”

“We got an agreement” to release “all the civilian hostages,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani told Piers Morgan. Israeli officials replied that if Hamas wanted to free them, it should do so without a pause in fighting, he said.

His on-record account follows a Haaretz report this month that he relayed the offer to then-Mossad chief David Barnea on the evening of Oct. 7.
