According to The Wall Street Journal, US President Donald Trump is set to be briefed Tuesday, 13 January, on potential actions against the Iranian government. The meeting with senior administration officials will cover options including expanding online support for antigovernment sources, deploying cyber operations against Iranian military and civilian targets, imposing additional sanctions, or even military strikes.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Joint Chiefs Chair General Dan Caine are expected to attend the session, which will focus on planning the next steps.
