❗️Secret ‘peace railway’ linking UAE and Israel advances amid Gaza genocide
Israeli media, including i24 News, Channel 15, and Yedioth Ahronoth, report that construction on a secret railway connecting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel has continued despite the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Channel 15 confirmed the project is at an advanced stage, carried out covertly throughout the conflict.
Yedioth Ahronoth highlighted that Israeli Transportation Minister Miri Regev recently traveled to the UAE to discuss the initiative, part of what is being dubbed the “Peace Railway.” The line aims to establish a commercial corridor linking Asia to Europe, moving goods from India to Abu Dhabi Port and then via high-speed train through the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan to Haifa Port for European and US distribution.
Officials from the UAE and Israeli railways have agreed to a joint administration to oversee the transit and explore alternative routes, including a crossing through the southern Dead Sea, to navigate political challenges.
