“I am ready to do anything for peace in Ukraine. Of course, Russia wants to get rid of me.
Maybe not physically, as they tried to do at the beginning of the war, but politically. I am a very inconvenient person for Putin.
We know each other. If tomorrow Ukraine is accepted into the EU and NATO, I will no longer be needed. But until that happens, I will defend my country,” Zelensky said in an interview with ARD.
