WATCH | “Today, it is Venezuela … tomorrow, it could be anyone else.”
Chile’s President Gabriel Borić recently condemned the US military operation in Venezuela that led to the abduction of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, warning that such interventions set a “dangerous precedent” for the region and the world. Borić stressed that sovereignty and territorial integrity are “red lines” that must not be crossed, and argued that if force is normalized in one country today, “tomorrow it could be anyone else.”
