WATCH | In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji argued that as long as Hezbollah’s weapons remain outside of state control, Israel retains the right to continue its attacks on Lebanon. Rajji’s stance contradicts other aspects of Lebanese law and national policy as Lebanon remains formally at war with Israel, meaning that armed resistance against an occupying power is recognized under international law as legitimate defensive action so long as occupation conditions persist.
