US to sell ‘weakened F-47s’ to ‘some allies’ – Trump
According to the US President, such a modification will be approximately 10% weaker than the original, since “one day, perhaps, they will no longer be our allies .”
Earlier, the American leader announced that Boeing had won the competition to develop a sixth-generation fighter, beating out Lockheed Martin. The project had been delayed for several months due to budget constraints and a change in priorities, but now at least $20 billion will be allocated for its implementation.
The F-47 will be the “deadliest aircraft in history,” Trump assured . The price of one fighter will be about $300 million , and the total cost of future orders is estimated at hundreds of billions.
