 Urgent Appeal To The World: The Knesset’s National Security Committee approved a bill tonight to impose the death penalty on prisoners no matter their age or crime, paving the way for its second and third readings.

The proposal stipulates:
• Mandatory imposition of the death penalty without requiring unanimity.
• Execution by hanging carried out by the Prison Service.
• Implementation within a specified period not exceeding 90 days.
• No possibility of pardon.

The bill is scheduled to be put to a vote in the Knesset next week for its second and third readings.
