1) After repeatedly amplifying Hamas talking points and propaganda, Western media has earned the general distrust Israelis feel about their ability to cover this conflict fairly.

2) It is quite likely that Hamas would limit journalists’ access on the ground in Gaza.

3) Hamas could easily put these journalists in harm’s way, creating a much larger problem for Israel as they navigate a challenging military campaign.
