Qatar, Jordan, And Palestine Have Strongly Condemned The Publication Of A Map Depicting “Historic Israel” By Official Israeli Accounts, Including Its Official Arabic-Language Account. The Map Claims Parts Of Palestine, Jordan, Syria, And Lebanon As Part Of What Is Referred To As “Greater Israel.”
Qatar’s foreign ministry denounced the map as undermining peace efforts and violating international norms. Palestinian officials criticized it as an attempt to rewrite history and erase Palestinian identity, while Jordan’s foreign ministry rejected it as a threat to regional stability and a violation of the 1994 Wadi Araba Treaty.
Although ambitions for “Greater Israel” are often voiced by Israeli military, security, and political figures, pro-Israel supporters frequently dismiss the concept as nothing more than a conspiracy theory.
