 Prisoner Ayman al-Kurd, from Kafr Aqab in occupied Jerusalem, has been freed as part of the prisoner exchange deal.

During his arrest in 2016, Israeli occupation forces shot him 13 times, leaving him paralyzed, after he carried out a stabbing operation in Jerusalem’s Old City, injuring two Israeli police officers.

Ayman had been sentenced to 35 years in prison.
