Perspective is everything… unless you’re reporting from Tel Aviv.
Here’s an ILTV reporter standing in the heart of occupied Yafa known as Tel Aviv, voice trembling, gesturing dramatically at buildings that, spoiler alert, are still standing. A cracked window here, a broken balcony there. “completely decimated,” she calls it.
Now watch this 👆🏻
Next to her video, here’s my home town Khiam, South Lebanon. Not cracked. Not shaken. Gone.
Flattened into dust by Israeli entity warplanes. As were dozens of towns across southern Lebanon. As was Dahiyeh, where neighborhoods turned to shadows. As was Gaza, reduced to rubble, not a city anymore, but an open grave.
So forgive me if I don’t weep over a bruised Tel Aviv sidewalk.
Because if this Israeli reporter thinks she’s standing in an apocalypse, she’s never seen what her army actually does when it wants to erase life, home by home, street by street.
