Netanyahu’s Government Resumes Its Campaign To Destroy Israel’s Judicial System | Haaretz Editorial
Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara informed Justice Minister Yariv Levin on Sunday that a bill that he presented for cabinet approval that would authorize the Knesset House Committee to delay legal proceedings against the prime minister and cabinet members is not constitutional, that it’s personally tailored and damages the principles of democratic governance and therefore must not be advanced. The attorney general has determined that the bill is aimed at permitting the prime minister to evade the legal system.
