Thanks to the American taxpayer [and others] Israel is now paying their reservist soldiers around $8,000 per month: “The secret lies in a fiscal trick that most people — including many economists — initially overlooked. Israel didn’t just mobilize reservists; it paid them extraordinarily well.”
Meanwhile, the average entry American soldier makes about $2,300 per month.
