Israel says it will not allow southern Syria to become southern Lebanon.
War Minister, Israel Katz:
“The Air Force is now forcefully attacking southern Syria as part of the new policy we have set in southern Syria.
We will not allow southern Syria to become southern Lebanon, and any attempt by the Syrian regime forces and terrorist organizations in the country to establish their presence in the security field in southern Syria will be met with fire.”
