 Israel Kills Dozens Of Palestinians In Gaza Hours After Ceasefire Announcement

At least 71 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes across the strip – including women and children – since the US and Qatar announced the deal

Dozens of Palestinians have been killed in Israeli massacres across the Gaza Strip since the US and Qatar announced one day ago that a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement has been reached.

At least 71 have been killed and over 200 injured since the announcement on 15 January, according to the Civil Defense in Gaza.

“The Israeli occupation committed 8 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 81 martyrs and 188 injuries arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours,” the Gaza Health Ministry said on 16 January.

At least 19 children and 24 women were among those killed.

Israel bombed the Al-Zaytoun school sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza on Thursday, killing at least four and wounding dozens.
