I formerly worked for a major player in optical sys manufacturing, my position mainly focused on R&D. this is ‘lightyears’ beyond anything I have ever worked on. And must say, gives me chills (in a good way). TB/sec essentially means zero latency (for non-tech people, this means a 4K movie could be downloaded within a few minutes). Will it be commercially available? Who knows. But an impressive development regardless.
