 **Ex-Israeli Army Chief Met UK News Editors To ‘Cultivate Support’ For Gaza Genocide: Report**

**__Several western media outlets, particularly the BBC, have shown blatant bias in favor of Israel throughout the course of its brutal war on Gaza__**

Former Israeli chief of staff Aviv Kohavi held private meetings with the editors of several top British news outlets a month after the war in Gaza began, during a tour of the UK aimed at “__cultivating support__” for Israel and its genocidal campaign against the strip, according to an exclusive Declassified report.

Kohavi met with Katherine Viner, editor-in-chief of the Guardian, Richard Burgess, director of news at BBC, and Roula Khalaf, the Financial Times (FT).

The 27 February report, which cites Kohavi’s itinerary and documents obtained under Israel’s Freedom of Information Act, reveals that the top Israeli military officer was also set to meet with a Sky News representative and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, then shadow foreign secretary.

Over 10,000 Palestinians in Gaza had been killed by the Israeli war by this point.

“__Kohavi’s tour of Britain was planned with support from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Israel Defense Forces, and Ministry of Defence,__” Declassified revealed, citing the documents.
