Breaking: Blasts Rock Kyiv As Missile Attack Targets Ukrainian Capital
Multiple explosions were reported in Kyiv early Friday as air defences intercepted missiles.
Fires broke out in the Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Dnipro districts, with debris setting cars ablaze and damaging a construction site.
The Ukrainian Air Force warned of a “ballistic missile from the north” and tracked a MiG-31 fighter jet capable of launching hypersonic missiles.
At least two people were injured and hospitalized.
Smoke was seen rising over parts of the city.
