8/11 – A Source Who Attended A Meeting Between Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani And Members Of The Syrian Diaspora In Moscow, During The Minister’s Official Visit To Russia, Told The Russian Newspaper Kommersant That Damascus Has Asked Russia To Resume Military Police Patrols In The Border Areas With Israel, As It Did Before The Fall Of Former Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.
“Russia’s return to its previous positions could prevent Israel’s interference in Syrian affairs,” the source said.
