The media had made a concerted effort in using the pizzagate shooter story to propel the era of “fact checking”, amidst their cries of the dangers of “fake news” and “Russian disinformation”…
The introductory paragraph concluded by saying that the Comet ping pong shooter “did prove, if there were any lingering doubts after the election, that fake news has real consequences.”… implying it was the narrative’s fault he went and did that, rather than than the person’s reaction to it…
I suspect when shootings happen, this is the type of person that blames the gun rather than the shooter.
Megyn Kelly did the exact same thing when interviewing James Alefantis about Pizzagate.
