— 🇺🇸/🇮🇱 NEW: U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed ‘My proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker’ on his inauguration day, has since bombed three countries: Somalia, Syria, and Yemen. This is in addition to $12 billion worth of military aid sent to Israel and the 100 U.S. troops stationed there to operate two ‘THAAD’ air defense systems, which were moved to Israel in October (on Biden’s orders), with no news of their removal from the Pentagon since.
These three countries, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen, have remained U.S. targets since Obama’s presidency, during which he was bombing seven countries simultaneously at one point.
Trump has repeatedly spoken out against ‘endless wars’ since his first term and opposed military intervention in the Middle East just two months ago, stating that ‘We got nothing out of it except a lot of death.’ However, his actual policies remain unchanged.
