🇸🇾⚡️ — The commander of the Syrian 62nd division, Brigadier General Muhammad Qasim, was appointed deputy commander of the central region army corps and was replaced by Ömer Muhammad, known as Muhtar al-Turki, a Turkish citizen who served under HTS as a field commander.
📝The 62nd division is a military unit created in 2025 from the remnants of the Turkish-backed Sultan Suleiman Shah division in order to facilitate SNA forces’ integration into the new army.
