➡️ Yet Palestinians are told that the price of statehood must be permanent demilitarization.
➡️ Demanding that the occupied disarm while the occupying power remains armed to the teeth is not a path to peace. It is a demand for surrender.
➡️ If the world wants to have a serious conversation about demilitarization, then the conversation must include everyone: Israel’s military, its nuclear arsenal, and the constant flow of U.S. weapons that fuels this violence.
