The Rwanda-backed M23 rebels will soon control two regional capital and with that a large portion of ressource-rich territory and of citizen that can be recruited into the Rwandan war machine.
Rwanda will be able to totally control its border with the DRC since Bakuvu was the only point left on the way.
It is now likely that Rwanda will focus and taking the entire DRC – Burundi border thus forcing the Burundi army to withdraw or be trapped and likely be crushed, let’s be honnest here Rwanda is winning and the rest is fleeing/dying their is almost no resistance.
