⭕️ UNRWA warns of severe hygiene crisis for women and girls in Gaza
UNRWA has raised alarm over the worsening conditions faced by women and girls in Gaza, citing acute shortages of hygiene supplies and clean water under Israel’s ongoing siege.
“Many women and girls are forced to use old clothes or torn fabric in place of pads, often reusing them without proper washing,” the agency reported, warning that the situation is causing deep shame, anxiety, and lasting harm to their dignity and mental wellbeing.
