⭕️ Israel detained BBC journalists in southern Syria
On 9 May, Israeli soldiers detained BBC Arabic special correspondent Feras Kilani, a British national, along with six of his colleagues in southern Syria.
According to the network, the group was allegedly searched, interrogated, and threatened after filming near Israeli military positions within a UN-monitored buffer zone near the town of Quneitra.
The team had been reporting from areas near the Golan Heights, covering recent Israeli ‘military operations’ inside Syrian territory.
