⭕️ Iraq signs preliminary oil deal with Chevron for Nasiriya project
Iraq has reached an agreement in principle with US oil giant Chevron for the Nasiriya project, which includes four exploration blocks as well as the development of additional producing oil fields, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani announced on Tuesday.
“We are confident that Chevron, with its proven track record and expertise in successfully developing oil and gas projects, has the resources, experience, and technology to support Iraq to further develop new energy resources,” Chevron’s vice president of corporate business development, Frank Mount, said in a statement.
