⭕️ A Tasnim reporter in Pakistan says an Iranian delegation, led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, met with Pakistan’s army chief Asim Munir in Islamabad, where they lodged a strong protest over a US breach of commitments during the current phase of negotiations.
Iran had agreed to enter talks after a US request to halt escalation, on the condition that Iranian assets be released and a ceasefire be implemented in Lebanon—terms relayed through Pakistani mediation as accepted by Washington but not carried out.
In response, Iran has kept oil tanker transit through the Strait of Hormuz unchanged.
Following internal evaluations, the Iranian delegation will decide whether to proceed with negotiations with the US side.
