❗️US President Donald Trump reiterated his desire to relocate Palestinians from Gaza to “safer” areas like Egypt or Jordan, stating he plans to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington “very soon.”
Speaking to reporters in Air Force One, Trump referred to Gaza as a “destroyed” land, saying he wants Palestinians to live in a place “without unrest, without revolution, without violence.” He expressed hope that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II, would cooperate, adding, “I hope he [El-Sisi] takes some… I’m sure he’ll help us.”
The Israeli genocidal war has displaced 2.4 million people in Gaza. A six-week ceasefire is currently in effect, facilitating the release of captives and prisoners, with negotiations underway for a longer-term resolution.
