❗️Sudanese army rejects US ceasefire proposal, vows to continue fighting
Sudan’s army has rejected a US-backed ceasefire proposal, announcing plans to mobilize national support to continue fighting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which control much of western Sudan.
The decision came after an emergency meeting of the Military Defense Council chaired by army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
