 ❗️Russia criticized US President Donald Trump’s proposal to take control of the Gaza Strip, calling it an example of Western “cancel culture.”

During a roundtable discussion on Ukraine with ambassadors in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed that this “culture of cancellation” has become especially apparent in the context of the Middle East.

Referring to the UN Security Council’s resolutions, he noted that decisions previously acknowledged by all as essential for establishing a Palestinian state just a month and a half ago have now effectively been dismissed.
