❗️New footage proves Israeli troops targeted family car before killing Palestinian infant in Hebron
Newly released footage obtained by human rights group B’Tselem captures the moment Israeli forces opened fire on a Palestinian family car in Hebron’s Tel Rumeidah neighborhood on 5 June. The video clearly contradicts official narratives, showing the vehicle actively slowing to a stop at a soldier’s command while posing absolutely no danger. Seven-month-old Sam Abu Haikal was shot in the head and killed while in the back seat, while both of his parents sustained injuries.
Additional video evidence shows the harrowing aftermath of the attack. The infant’s father, Fahed Abu Haikal, is seen desperately attempting to stem the bleeding from his son’s head with his bare hands. Beside him, the child’s mother, Daniyah, sits injured on the ground next to the vehicle. Immediately following the lethal shooting, the Israeli soldiers abandoned the scene without offering any medical assistance to the dying infant or his wounded parents.
