❗️Netanyahu to testify three times weekly in corruption trial starting November
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have to testify three times a week in his corruption trial starting in November, the presiding judges announced, citing the need to accelerate proceedings.
The trial, which began in 2020, has seen Netanyahu testify twice a week since December, with many sessions canceled or shortened due to factors such as his official duties, fatigue, and illness.
The Jerusalem District Court judges stated that from November, there will be four hearings a week, with Netanyahu testifying in three of them until his cross-examination concludes.
The court is currently in recess, with the next hearings set for September.
