The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) has lodged a formal criminal complaint in the Netherlands against two prominent Israeli Knesset members, Ram Ben Barak and Moshe Solomon, accusing them of direct incitement to genocide. The legal challenge comes as the two politicians arrive in The Hague to participate in the 33rd Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, a gathering ironically themed around “International Law and Shared Principles.”

The complaint targets specific inflammatory rhetoric used by both officials to justify the ongoing war in Gaza. HRF points to Ben Barak’s previous proposals advocating for the “voluntary migration” of Palestinians—which he framed as finding refuge in countries like Canada—as a thinly veiled blueprint for the permanent displacement and dissolution of the Palestinian population.

Simultaneously, Moshe Solomon is cited for his vocal support of re-establishing Israeli settlements in the enclave and maintaining permanent military control. “The statements of Ben Barak and Solomon are not mere political opinions,” stated HRF director Dyab Abou Jahjah. “They are public incitements to commit genocide, delivered by officials with direct influence over state policy and military oversight.”

By filing this complaint, the foundation aims to force Dutch authorities to confront the presence of officials accused of legitimizing atrocities, effectively turning the OSCE summit into a testing ground for international accountability.
