“I congratulate the Prime Minister who led the State of Israel together with the Cabinet in a very determined way regarding Syria. We made good and determined decisions. In the strategic aspect – the State of Israel has returned to being a leading country.
The decision made in the cabinet yesterday regarding Syria has brought us to a state of superiority here as well. We are not sitting on the fence waiting for Erdogan or someone else to take over Syria and build a terrorist state there. Even now, efforts are being made to prevent the passage of weapons through Syria, and of course to protect our settlements. We are also looking at minorities in Syria that have the potential for a good relationship with Israel, such as the Druze and the Kurds.”
