❗️Israeli army simulates ‘October 7-style’ Hezbollah attack amid fears of northern front collapse
The Israeli army held large-scale military drills along the northern border this week, simulating what it described as an “October 7-style” operation by Hezbollah.
Over 30 hours of exercises tested Israel’s response to a coordinated infiltration from Lebanon by air, land, and sea, targeting settlements and outposts in the occupied Galilee.
Senior officers admitted that several battalions “severely” failed their missions, exposing persistent weaknesses despite Israel’s deployment of new outposts inside southern Lebanon.
Commanders acknowledged that any real Hezbollah assault would likely catch them off guard, underscoring Tel Aviv’s growing unease over its collapsing northern defenses.
