❗️Israel admits drone downed over Iran, Iran shoots down F-35 jet
Israel’s military has confirmed that one of its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) was downed over Iranian territory after being targeted by a surface-to-air Iranian missile. “No injuries were reported and there is no risk of an information breach,” the military claimed in a statement.
The announcement follows Iranian state media confirmation that its forces shot down both an Israeli drone and a fighter jet. While Israel acknowledged the loss of the UAV, it did not comment on the reported downing of its warplane.
Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB reported that Iranian forces shot down an Israeli Hermes drone in Isfahan. Meanwhile, the official IRNA news agency reported that Iranian forces destroyed a hostile F-35 fighter in the Javadabad area of Varamin city.
