 ❗️Iran possibly aiming for Israel’s energy artery as threats to BTC Pipeline escalate after missile intercepted over Turkiye

Following the start of the joint US-Israeli war on Iran on February 28, Iran has explicitly signaled its intent to target “enemy oil supply lines,” which has raised immediate alarms for the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline.

This critical energy artery, which runs from Azerbaijan through Georgia to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, remains Israel’s primary energy lifeline, supplying approximately 46% of its crude oil imports as of 2025.

While NATO air defenses recently intercepted a ballistic missile over southern Turkiye near the Ceyhan terminal, any direct hit on the pipeline within Turkish territory would mark a massive escalation.
