❗️BAE Systems to earn $6.17 billion from Turkiye’s 20 Eurofighter Typhoon purchase
British defense company BAE Systems said on Monday it expects to record £4.6 billion ($6.17 billion) from a UK government deal under which Turkiye purchased 20 Eurofighter Typhoon jets.
Under the agreement, BAE will produce airframe components, carry out final assembly of the aircraft, and lead weapons integration efforts in Lancashire, UK.
The company added that the weapons package will be supplied by European missile manufacturer MBDA, in which BAE owns a 37.5% stake.
