❗️A report by the Times of Israel shows new photos of the Netzarim Corridor in Gaza, showing how Israel has bolstered its presence in the Netzarim Corridor. It says that the bases and infrastructure the army is constructing signal an intention to stay indefinitely.
In one of the photos, newly erected cell towers are visible, demonstrating that the supposed initial stance of the Israeli army claiming to have not allowed their soldiers bring their phones to Gaza has “changed.”
An Israeli deputy brigade commander that was interviewed said:
“We need to give the soldiers minimal facilities in which to live. We are the IDF, not some guerrilla organization. I don’t want to use equipment that belongs to Palestinians, and I don’t want to use Palestinians’ homes.”
All the offices and living quarters in the bases had air conditioning. A new water line was extended from Israel, and industrial generators were brought in. Functional toilets, hot water, and electricity are available 24/7.
