 ❗️ Governor of Syria’s Central Bank, Abdul Qader al-Husriya, told the Financial Times that the country expects to be reconnected to the SWIFT international payment network in the coming weeks.

He added that the government plans to overhaul the financial sector by easing regulations and restoring its function as a link between households and businesses.
