⭕️ Russia warns Israel that a strike on Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant could result in disaster similar to Chernobyl

The head of Russia’s nuclear agency issued a stark warning saying an Israeli strike on Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant could result in a disaster on the scale of Chernobyl.

Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters that Israel had assured Moscow that Russian personnel working on additional facilities at the site would not be harmed.

Rosatom chief Alexei Likhachev emphasized the risks surrounding the plant, warning, “If there is a strike on the operational first power unit, it will be a catastrophe comparable to Chernobyl,” according to Russia’s RIA news agency.

Likhachev added that such an attack would be “beyond … evil.”

“We are prepared for any scenario, including the rapid evacuation of all our employees,” RIA quoted him as saying.
