 ❗️US President Trump and his Egyptian counterpart Sisi will co-chair the ‘Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit’ on 13 October, with over 20 world leaders, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, set to attend.

According to the Egyptian presidency, the summit aims to boost efforts to end the war on Gaza, establish “peace and stability” in the region, and open a new chapter for regional security.

The summit is being held in line with Trump’s stated “vision” to bring “peace” to the region, as he calls it.
