❗️An Israeli soldier, Gal Ferenbook, had to urgently leave Sri Lanka after being identified by the Hind Rajab Foundation, Israeli Channel 12 reports. The foundation posted a picture of Ferenbook, showing his involvement in the killing of a Palestinian civilian in Gaza, and called for his arrest by Sri Lankan authorities, the International Criminal Court, and Interpol.
Ferenbook shared an Instagram video on the 9th of August 2024, showing a deceased Palestinian civilian while laughing as another soldier referred to him as “the Terminator.” Following an urgent alert from Israeli authorities, Ferenbook fled the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo to avoid potential arrest.
